Pre-arrival Tasks

Want to learn more about what to expect prior to your start at HubSpot? 

Prior to your first day:

You'll receive an email from Workday, our People system, where we maintain all your information. This is where you'll complete your onboarding tasks, except for the Right to Work Check which will be sent to your email. When you log in to Workday, you'll have pending items in your inbox. If you are having any difficulty logging in to Workday, please email workday-support@hubspot.com.

New to Ireland?

If so, check out this document for information on how to get your PPS Number, open up an Irish bank account, and more. We recommend you apply for your PPSN as soon as possible as this may take a number of weeks.

Payroll: Timeline

Payroll is processed on a monthly basis. To receive your first payment the month you are starting, you must complete all Workday tasks 2 days prior to your start date. If this is not completed 2 days prior to your start date you'll receive payment the following month. You can view more details regarding payroll here.

It is vital that you do all your Workday Tasks to be included in the payroll. If you require any assistance or guidance please reach out to the payroll team as soon as possible.

Please note, if this is your first employment in Ireland you will need to register your employment at HubSpot with Revenue, please refer to link above in reference to completing this.

  • Prior to your start date please email payroll@hubspot.com
  • After your start date please raise a ticket on HelpSpot. (We will show you how to do this on your first day)
Workday Tasks
  • Date of Birth
  • City of Birth
  • Nationality
  • Irish Address: Please ensure you provide an Irish address via Workday, if you are new to Ireland and hold only a temporary address, please provide this and when you receive your permanent address please amend the details in Workday. 

    (Note: Address entries in Workday requires the layout to be as Address line 1, Address line 2, Address line 3 etc, DO NOT enter your full address in one field)

  • PPSN⁠ — If employees don't provide a PPSN, they will be subject to the Emergency tax
  • Bank Details: Payroll can facilitate salary payments to non Irish bank accounts provided the account of your choice is a EURO / SEPA bank account. If you are a new hire and would like your salary to be paid to a non Irish EURO account, or you are a transfer from another HubSpot entity and would like to input Irish bank details, please email payroll@hubspot.com outlining the country where your bank account is held.

Right to Work Check

In line with local regulations, we ask all of our new hires in Ireland to upload work authorization documents to a right-to-work check software called GoVerify, operated by our external vendor Deloitte.

The GoVerify tool is a digital right-to-work check that provides you with a step-by-step guide to confirming your work authorization. Please keep a lookout for an email from GoVerify over the coming days, kick-starting your right-to-work check.

Benefits

You'll have the opportunity to participate in HubSpot's medical insurance, dental insurance, and pension scheme. You'll be prompted to make your benefit elections in Workday on or after your start date.

All benefits are effective your start date, unless you wish to enroll in the plans at a later time (you can enroll at any time during the year).
