Prior to your first day:

You'll receive an email from Workday, our HR system, prior to your start. This is where you'll complete your onboarding tasks. When you log in to Workday, you'll have pending items in your inbox. If you are having any difficulty logging in to Workday, please email workday-support@hubspot.com.

You are legally required to complete your onboarding tasks 5 business days before your start date for us to register you as an employee with the respective Colombian authorities.

Please complete the Workday task at least 2 weeks prior to your start date.

Workday Tasks

Make sure you complete all onboarding tasks in workday: 

  • Edit Government IDs: Please ensure the completion of this task prior to your start date as this document is required for your social security affiliations
    • Citizen Card Number for Colombian Nationals  (Cedula de Ciudadania)
    • Alien Registration Card Number (Cedula de Extranjeria)
    • Special Permit of Stay (Permiso Especial de Permanencia) 
    • Temporary Protection Permit (Permiso Proteccion Temporal)

For non-Colombian nationals. The ID should match the one listed on your Bank Certificate.

  • Payment Election Enrollment: To ensure you are set up to receive direct deposit, add a bank account in Workday. Please be sure to make an election for all payroll deposits.
  • Confirm Address: Please ensure that your primary address on file is accurate, and corresponds to an address in Colombia. If you are relocating to Colombia, update this information as soon as it is available to you. 
  • Change Emergency Contacts 
  • Confirm Personal Information

  • Review Documents: You must download the Colombia Starter Form from Workday, complete it, and then re-upload it into Workday with all the requested documentation outlined to get set up on payroll.  You can refer HERE for more information on the required payroll documentation.



    Please ensure that all documents are not password protected.
Right to Work Check

In line with local regulations, we ask all of our new hires in Colombia to upload work authorization documents to a right-to-work check software called GoVerify, operated by our external vendor Deloitte.

The GoVerify tool is a digital right-to-work check that provides you with a step-by-step guide to confirming your work authorization. Please keep a lookout for an email from GoVerify over the coming days, kick-starting your right-to-work check.

Payroll: Timeline

To receive your first payment the month you are starting and in order for HubSpot to register you as an employee with the social security office, you must complete the remaining Workday tasks at least 2 weeks prior to your start date.

If your information is submitted after, you'll receive payment the following month.

If you are starting in the Middle of the Month your first pay will be at the end of the following month (retroactively of what you earned all period).
